This is my six Lexus including an LS460, GS350, IS350, but by far this is the best car Lexus has made. The seats are extremely comfortable, quiet, excellent power, and you get quite a bit for the money. As far as the reviews on the radio and the mouse pad they are true, but this is minor compared to the car as a whole. Excellent!!!!…
So much to love but...

The sound system is terrible. Every other complaint is minor - except maybe the overly sensitive Remote Touch Interface control system which is very frustrating (dangerous?) to use. But, seriously, sound does not come out of the back speakers which is ludicrous. I truly thought I had speakers that were not connected but was assured by the Lexus technician they worked as designed. The technician actually said "the back speakers were designed to produce very little sound; it is a new design and a new sound experience". Yes, a terrible experience! I cannot figure out what is going on or how Lexus put this product on the market. I have a 3 years lease and I feel totally stuck. I am sad because I loved my past ES 350 cars but I feel I have to make a statement and walk away from Lexus at the end of my lease!…
Improvement over previous ES

Love the styling, love the fit and finish, love the interior, love the power. Base ES does not come with acoustic side glass, road noise is well controlled but could be better on this class of car. Avoid the bridgestone tires as they are loud! Fortunately mine came with standard 17" michellins. Noticeable wind noise..only when breezy though. Once and only once when putting car in reverse it bucked so hard it felt like a car hit me from behind! Hasn't done it since. Touch controller makes it impossible to safely change car/audio settings. Rear side glass is thinner than front. Come on Lexus! No wonder I hear more noise from the rear than front! Overall car is much improved in just about all areas and much improved compared to my 2017 ES. Now if Lexus would do away with the energy green tires road noise would probably be improved and make acoustic side glass standard across the lineup and change the dangerous touch controller to a touch screen, it would make car much better in my opinion.…
